WAIST TRAINER

I ordered this to wear after having ventral hernia surgery with permanent mesh, to hold my muscles together, I also had diastases recti, muscle separation. The surgical binder works, but was stiff and uncomfortable, so i needed something else to wear during my 8 week recovery. It's very comfortable and fits nicely under my clothes, the surgical binder was thick and bulky. I ordered a small and extra small based on reviews, but kept the small, it's nice that you have 3 rows of hooks, so it can be tightened if needed, just like a bra strap. I was swollen from surgery, but now back to my normal waist size. For reference I'm 5'6 and weigh 123, and the small fits perfect, I only plan to wear it during my recovery, and maybe when i get back into the gym, just for extra support, it gives me a sense of security, that it will support my stomach, so I don't have muscle separation again.
